OWLS Art Class

FREE for our patrons 55 years and older.

The Keck Memorial Library has been selected to be one of the 18 libraries in the state chosen to participate in the Iowa Arts Learning in Libraries Initiative (ALLI) program. The ALLI program, a partnership between the State Library of Iowa and the Iowa Arts Council, was made possible through a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. The goal of ALLI is to partner local arts organizations with rural public libraries to engage older adults with participatory, skill-based arts programs that meet creative, cognitive, and social needs.

We have paired with the Muscatine Art Center and will host an art class for patrons 55 and older.

Our program is called OWLS Older, Wiser, Lively Seniors.

Classes are limited to 20 people per class and will be on Mondays from 10:30 - 11:30 am.

You are required to sign up so we know how many people to expect. We will close the sign up when we hit 20 people or the Wednesday before the class.

Sign Up in Person at the library, Over The Phone or Online here DEADLINE is the WEDNESDAY Before the Class.
